Seeking those who never cease to embrace challenges.
The environment is changing all around us every day. Although it feels like most people should view such changes as drastic, the reality is that these changes
go unnoticed, much like people failing to notice the changes in a single drop of water. Pyxos is looking for people who can recognize industry trends before
they happen, respond to those trends promptly, and continuously take on challenges. Let’s pursue “true value” together.

Reasons to work at Pyxos
We develop our cloud-based services in-house
Pyxos produces products based on internet technology, such as “Julea,” a web-based dental clinic reception system; “Denta Map Plus,” an appointment
management system that allows patients to make appointments over the web from their mobile devices; “PETORELU,” an appointment and digital medical chart
system for veterinary clinics that can be used from a web browser; and “Omakase Shift,” a shift management tool which lets people request and check shifts
from their smartphones 24 hours a day. Because these operate in a web browser, most of our development is done in languages familiar to web developers,
such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, and Ruby.
Development using big data
Pyxos is currently moving forward with the development of products using big data. Our goal is to integrate and analyze data obtained using internet
technologies, allowing us to create new market value.
System development, sales, and marketing. We are looking for new graduates as well as experienced professionals to help us in a wide variety of fields.
Development (SE/Web engineer)
Developing software in pursuit of true value
For development positions, Pyxos targets people with a good grasp of the fundamentals of programming who are interested in continuing their studies.
When developing applications, Pyxos only provides very general programming specifications. We are looking for people who can think for themselves
and who enjoy programming.
Web programming
Currently, we focus on the web in our product development, primarily using programming languages such as C, C++, C#, PHP, Ruby, JavaScript, HTML,
and CSS. Our development efforts are undertaken by a small, elite team, requiring the use of multiple programming languages.
Sales
A new kind of sales work
Pyxos places advertising on the web and in other media. Our sales staff respond to inquiries through a range of channels, first sending documents
and then offering demonstrations over the phone or using other means. While we do visit customers at their request, we do not engage in walk-in
sales. Although we do have sales quotas to meet, if we compare our sales to running a marathon, we do just enough to finish the race within the set
time limit.
Always thinking of growth
The quality we need from our sales personnel is the ability to continue to work hard. We welcome people who are able to reflect on times they were
not able to convince customers and put that knowledge to use as they take on future challenges. We are looking for personnel with a grasp of the
fundamentals of Microsoft Word and Excel and who are able to continue to learn going forward.
Technical Support
The occupation that spends the most time with customers
Pyxos technical support and support personnel explain the operation of our products to customers and provide support when customers encounter
problems. They are responsible for increasing the number of inquiries related to products and requests for documents, and they must do their best to
provide support that enhances customer satisfaction.
Technical support that goes above and beyond
These roles are suitable for people who like computers and want to acquire new knowledge, as well as those who wish to improve their communication
skills through interactions with people. First, support personnel will acquire a basic level of IT knowledge and study specialized software and
hardware.

From the standpoint of the SDGs:
Creating environments that are rewarding to work in
Enhancing our employees’ lives is key to improving productivity and creativity and creating meaningful experiences for our customers. In the 2010s Pyxos
introduced shorter work hours, working from home, and flex-time as part of our efforts to make working easier. Automating many of our operations and
pursuing efficiency has allowed us to create this flexibility. Additionally, we are actively recruiting personnel from overseas and endeavoring to create an
environment that fosters sensitivity and the formulation of ideas in a diverse setting.
In 2021, we launched the “Ospitalita Piccolomondo” restaurant to encourage employees to manage their health, to promote an understanding of SDGs
regarding food, and to serve as our staff cafeteria. It features a nutritionally balanced menu using ingredients from throughout Kagoshima Prefecture in
order to revitalize the regional economy.
We are introducing a range of new systems such as no-contact food ordering and fully cashless payment. Through this process, we are working to become a
restaurant that is loved by the local community and leaves no one behind.
