Reasons to work at Pyxos
We develop our cloud-based services in-house
Pyxos produces products based on internet technology, such as “Julea,” a web-based dental clinic reception system; “Denta Map Plus,” an appointment management system that allows patients to make appointments over the web from their mobile devices; “PETORELU,” an appointment and digital medical chart system for veterinary clinics that can be used from a web browser; and “Omakase Shift,” a shift management tool which lets people request and check shifts from their smartphones 24 hours a day. Because these operate in a web browser, most of our development is done in languages familiar to web developers, such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, and Ruby.
Development using big data
Pyxos is currently moving forward with the development of products using big data. Our goal is to integrate and analyze data obtained using internet technologies, allowing us to create new market value.

From the standpoint of the SDGs:
Creating environments that are rewarding to work in
Enhancing our employees’ lives is key to improving productivity and creativity and creating meaningful experiences for our customers. In the 2010s Pyxos introduced shorter work hours, working from home, and flex-time as part of our efforts to make working easier. Automating many of our operations and pursuing efficiency has allowed us to create this flexibility. Additionally, we are actively recruiting personnel from overseas and endeavoring to create an environment that fosters sensitivity and the formulation of ideas in a diverse setting.
In 2021, we launched the “Ospitalita Piccolomondo” restaurant to encourage employees to manage their health, to promote an understanding of SDGs regarding food, and to serve as our staff cafeteria. It features a nutritionally balanced menu using ingredients from throughout Kagoshima Prefecture in order to revitalize the regional economy.
We are introducing a range of new systems such as no-contact food ordering and fully cashless payment. Through this process, we are working to become a restaurant that is loved by the local community and leaves no one behind.
